The library staff joined forces with our amazing technical support person Kellie Bertrand to raise money for Relay for Life. There are multiple groups hosting raffles, guessing games, and more to help this organization.
Kellie put together a gift basket, and students and staff bought $1 tickets to try to win the basket. Our very lucky Ryan LeBoeuf won the basket which holds Moose Tracks popcorn, chocolate, a gift certificate to Dominoes, and many Viking gear items from our Viking store.
Thank you Mr. Babcock for sharing this with the Loquacious ….
From the New York Times:
Every Friday from June 17 to Aug. 19 we’ll pose the same question: What interested you most in The Times this week? Why?
Anyone 13 to 19 years old from anywhere in the world can post an answer any week until Friday, Aug. 26, and contestants can choose from any Times article, essay, video, interactive or photograph published in 2016, on any topic they like.
Every Tuesday starting July 5 we will announce winners from a previous week and publish their writing on the blog.

We had a great time hosting contests and giving away prizes for National Library Week. The video below shows highlights of the events that took place in the library.
