Mr. White’s class kicked off National Library Week by running through our obstacle course. Students rotate through six different stations that combine an activity or exercise with library skills. Students are also able to get library fines forgiven by saying, “Happy National Library Week.” On Wednesday, Isaiah, one of our awesome students, is hosting a Wild and Out event. Stay tuned for a video early next week highlighting these great events.
Students from Mrs. Thomas’s English classes visited the library in search of true love. There were a couple of broken hearts but overall students found an interesting title to take home. You can see the romance blooming in the video below …
Come by and take a spin on one of our four Fit Desks. Many students are using them, and we have had several tell us that it helps them with their ADD. One student used it while typing a paper and said that the words were flowing more easily. We even had a race going on yesterday afternoon between Mrs. Khoury and a student!
Work on your papers, Powerpoints, lesson plans, read a book, or just pedal your cares away. Everyone is welcome.
Wait? Get fit? In the Loquacious? How????
